It was an eventful weekend as people flocked to the Quezon Memorial Circle to join the "Grand Kapamilya Weekend", the culmination of ABS-CBN's celebration of 60 years of Philippine television.
As soon as the gates opened last October 5, 2013, Kapamilya of all ages flocked to the booths mounted by the various Integrated News and Current Affairs Programs.
Leading Philippine crime show, ABS-CBN SOCO conducted various activities such as the "Hanapin Ang Wanted" game where participants were asked to spot several "wanted" personalities scattered around the compound. Fans were also given the chance to have their picture taken with the one and only Gus Abelgas at the SOCO photo booth.
SOCO also furthered its public service thrust by conducting a "Crime Prevention Seminar" and "Crime Scene Preservation Seminar" in cooperation with the Philippine National Police and partners from the Scene of Crime Operations Division.
