Jessica Sanchez back in PH to help 'Yolanda' victims

MANILA - Jessica Sanchez arrived in the Philippines on Saturday night to personally help the victims of super typhoon "Yolanda" (international name: Haiyan).
On the micro-blogging site Twitter, the "American Idol" finalist expressed her excitement to be back in the country.

The 17-year old will team up with Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao, who expressed his intentions to visit typhoon-hit Leyte, for the relief operations.
Sanchez, who has been active in her efforts to help the Filipinos in Central Visayas, will be in the country until December 10.
The singer has already staged her first online concert at stageit.com. and wrote the song "Lead Me Home" in an effort to raise funds for the Philippine Red Cross.
The track is part of the iTunes collection, "Songs for the Philippines."
Sanchez is also in the country to help the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Her arrival marks her third trip to the country after finishing as runner-up in "American Idol."
